What does it mean "to pull a Charlie Gordon"?

His friends something said "he really pulled a Charlie Gordon that time". To pull a Charlie Gordon mean that some one did something wrong or messed up, did something stupid, like Charlie Gordon, he is stupid that is what his friends mean when they said to pull a charlie gordon because charlie only had a 68 IQ scores and when his friend said that, charlie think that they are his friend, they laugh so charlie laugh because he doesn't know what his friends are talking about. He only know that his Iq is very low for an 37 years old man so he want to get smarter!! So he is trying his best to learn more after the surgery!!

    You're right Sam!!!! Charlie thought they are his friends but they acted very mean to them. Poor Charlie.
